Membership to the Holdsworth Club is exclusively reserved for those who are students or staff at the Birmingham Law School. The Club exists to enrich the experience and employment prospects of students by organising social activities and careers events throughout the year. Membership costs £55 and includes entry to the infamous LAID bar crawl in week 2, as well as a copy of the First Year photo in Freshers Week. Membership to the Holdsworth Club is for life and no renewal is necessary, which means that members are entitled to attend both social and careers events even after graduation.

How do I Join?

There are just three easy steps.

1. You should enter your name and click on the ‘Pay now’ link below. This will take you to PayPal’s website, where you can make a secure payment of £55 for lifetime membership to the Holdsworth Club. When you have completed the payment (you can use your own PayPal account, or a credit or debit card), you should make a note of your reference number. You will need this to complete step 2.

2. You should now fill in the membership form, which asks for various details about you. This is sent (again, securely) to the Holdsworth Club. You will be redirected to this form immediately after payment (i.e. step 1). The form asks you for your reference number from the PayPal membership transaction, so that we can ensure our records are accurate.

3.  Following submission, you will receive an email from the Holdsworth secretary to confirm your membership.
