This section of the Holdsworth Club is specifically aimed at students considering a career at the Bar. As with the Careers section, I will be running a number of events throughout the year to provide you with as much information as possible about the four Inns of Court, what a career as a Barrister involves, and advice for those all important mini-pupillage and pupillage application forms. Previous events include visits to Chambers, meals at the Inns of Court, and various presentations from Barristers, Judges and the College of Law.
Only a small minority of people have their career path mapped out, and that is why, as well as running events, ICSA is also here to provide you with information and advice. If you are unsure of whether to follow the barrister or solicitor route, or even if you don’t think a legal career is for you, it is really important that you attend as many events as you can to give yourself the best chance of finding the most suitable career for you.
Please look at the links below for more information; additionally, please join the Inns of Court Student Association Facebook Group which will be the main source of information and discussion on a career as a barrister.
